Located on scenic Lake Independence, Baker Park Reserve offers 2,700 acres of natural landscape and accommodations for almost any activity from golfing to camping to cross-country skiing, and so much more. No matter the season, there’s always something fun to do.
We take great care to preserve the natural beauty of this park through the efforts of our Natural Resources division. Volunteers are an important part of this work. Please contact us for opportunities in this or a variety of other volunteer-based roles.
Zero Waste Picnicking at Baker Park
This summer, help us take care of the environment by packing items that can be recycled or composted and sorting your waste into the correct container. Groups participating in the Zero Waste effort will be entered into a drawing for a free Activity pass. Learn more about Zero Waste Picnicking at Baker Park.
