Favorite Place in Three Rivers Park District

Since I am an avid outdoors woman, my favorite places in Three Rivers Park District are where I can have “up close and personal” encounters with wildlife and experience seasonal changes in plant and animal life. Whether it’s heading out into the field at dusk with a naturalist at Elm Creek Park Reserve in the spring to watch American woodcocks perform their thrilling sky dance, collecting prairie seeds for replanting with a group of dedicated park volunteers in the fall at Carver Park Reserve or ice fishing at any one of the many Three Rivers Parks, I am always amazed at the wide variety of quality outdoor experiences that are possible.

Louise’s term expires December 31, 2024.
